Infographics and interactive displays are plentiful in the show, too. The presentations often included detailed infographics, breakdowns of the concepts, as well as professionally executed prototypes and models.

In an information-saturated era, synthesizing complex information is an important skill. There is also ample experimental work here, often incorporating video or audio.

Custom swag bags are given to First-Generation students at the beginning of each school year The tightly packed show blends art and design together in informal ways, and while I appreciate the intent to blur disciplines, the show is overwhelming and difficult to absorb, leaving me wondering if there are ways that MIAD could improve how it presents its graduating students. Students will have the skills, tools, and network needed to succeed in the post-secondary journey.
